Experts suggest that the canvas was painted back in 1932.

At the exhibition in the New York, Heather James Fine Art Gallery will show the lost 75 years ago canvas of Salvador Dali: all these years it was in a private collection and was not exhibited for the general public, writes Dazed. Presumably, the picture was written in 1932 — to create it, the artist was inspired by the view from his home window in Port Lligat.

To confirm the authenticity of the picture, the experts conducted a thorough analysis of it, including the author’s signature and archival data. “Gala Salvador Dali” — in a similar way were named many other works, which the artist dedicated to his wife Gala Dali.

Nevertheless, specialists don’t doubt the authenticity of the picture.
