It is expected that the movie will appear at the box office in January 2020.

A new trailer for the 1917 movie, which tells the story of two British soldiers during World War I, has appeared on the YouTube channel of Universal Pictures. The director of the picture was Sam Mendes (“American Beauty”, “Skyfall”). George MacKay (Private Peaceful), Dean-Charles Chapman (Game of Thrones), Benedict Cumberbatch and Colin Firth played in the film. According to the plot, the two main characters have to cross the territory of the enemy in order to give the British troops a warning about the death trap.

The filmmakers used the technique of “continuous” shooting, as, for example, in the film “Birdman” by Alejandro González Iñárritu. In fact, such movies consist of many fragments imperceptibly stitched during post-processing. When watching such a film, the viewer gets the impression that the camera has never come off the main characters.

In late September, the studio published a video from the filming of ‘1917’, which shows how the camera follows the actors.
