An adaptation of the Monster Hunter series of games with Milla Jovovich in the title role received an age rating. And it eloquently informed that one should not expect excessive violence and graphic scenes from the film.
The movie received rating PG-13. The reasons are “scenes of battles with monsters and cruelty.” Once the film has received an age limit, this means that work on it is almost complete.
The film is directed by Paul William Scott Anderson, whom you may know from the adaptations of the Resident Evil franchise. Milla Jovovich is his wife, who played the main role in Resident Evil. The Monster Hunter series of games belongs to Capcom, the same studio is also responsible for Resident Evil.
The premiere of the film by Monster Hunter will take place on September 3, 2020.
