The release of advertising by the British company is traditionally considered a symbol of the beginning of the Christmas season.
British store chain John Lewis has released a new Christmas promotional video. This year’s video is dedicated to the friendship of the red-haired girl Ava and a little dragon named Edgar. Due to the fact that Edgar sometimes breathes fire at inopportune moments, the locals do not like him. On Christmas Eve, Ava manages to fix this.
Festive advertising of the John Lewis chain of stores annually receives wide popularity and is considered one of the traditional symbols of the beginning of the Christmas season. In 2016, 18-year-old student Nick Jablonka inadvertently misled hundreds of thousands of Internet users by publishing an amateur version of John Lewis commercials: many accepted his work as the company’s original Christmas video, and the video began to rapidly gain popularity on the Web. The amateur version of advertising was watched more than 700 thousand times.
