The lineup will consist of four smartphones, each of which will have a different ‘notch’.
In social networks, were published some characteristics and promo shots of the new Huawei smartphones in high resolution three days before the presentation in Munich. The line will consist of four devices: Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30 Lite and a special version in the design from Porsche.
Judging by the pictures, the Mate 30 Pro flagship will receive a display with strongly curved left and right edges, four cameras in a round layout, as well as a wide “notch”. As in previous models, Huawei was involved in setting up cameras with Leica.
One of the users of Twitter said that the Mate 30 Pro will receive two sensors of 40 megapixels, one for 8 megapixels and a TOF sensor. In addition, judging by the screen image, the device will support two SIM cards, like the Huawei P30 Pro. According to MSPowerUser, the simple Mate 30 will have a smaller “notch” due to the fact that it will receive fewer sensors for face recognition.
Both devices will receive a Kirin 990 processor with a built-in 5G modem. The Mate 30 Lite will be seriously different from the other two models in design, and it will also receive a selfie camera built into the screen and a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. According to insider Evan Blass, the characteristics of the younger model coincide with the Nova 5i Pro, announced in July.
In one of the photos posted by Blass, you can also see the version of the Mate 30 Pro from Porsche Design. It will feature a leather back cover and black and red colors.
Huawei will introduce the Mate 30 Pro line at a presentation in Munich on September 19. Devices will be the first smartphones of the company, released despite being in the “blacklist” of US authorities. Because of this, the Mate 30 line will lose support for Google services, including all service applications and the Play Store.
