The battle scene at the Blaviken market is considered the best in the Netflix The Witcher series. And in a new video, Henry Cavill, who played Geralt, described in detail how this fight was shot.
Initially, they wanted to record the battle in fragments, and then connect them during installation. But this would worsen the dynamics of the scene so, in the end, they shot it using one scene.
And the sword that Geralt is wielding turned out to be half as much in reality. The tip was added using computer graphics. So Cavill was easier to perform difficult tricks, but at the same time had to constantly behave as if he holds a normal sword.
