Director Luc Besson was accused by five more women of sexual harassment, reports the Mediapart.

Evidence against the director was given by model Karin Isambar, a former assistant to Besson, two students of his film school and a former employee of his company EuropaCorp. The events listed in the statements of women occurred between 1995 and 2016. Former assistant director said that Besson regularly forced her to have sex.

The first accusations against the director were made in May 2018. Actress Sand Van Roy, starred by Besson in the film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, and a former casting director, whose name was not disclosed, said that the director had raped them. Two more women claimed that Besson had harassed them in his Paris office. Then the director denied everything. New charges neither Besson nor his representatives commented.

Luc Besson is a French director, screenwriter and producer. He created movies “Leon” and “The Fifth Element”, and also wrote the script for a series of films “Taxi”.
