The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is posting Facebook ads for spies from Washington, attaching to them images with inscriptions in Russian. This was told by CNN.

Journalists believe that advertising is aimed at recruiting Russian spies and those who know about their work. The television channel found three such announcements that contained inscriptions: “For the sake of your future, for the future of your family!”, “Is it time for you to make your move?” And “Time to build bridges”. A CNN interlocutor said that this ad was showing during the summer.

The ads were redirected to the counterintelligence program site of the FBI regional office, the information on which is written both in Russian and in English. The representative of the bureau said that “Russia has many spies working in Russian diplomatic institutions around the world. They are very active and pose a security threat to the United States and our allies. The FBI uses various methods to collect information,” the bureau explained.
