Do you have a hard time working all week? And this is not surprising. Scientists say it is optimal to work 1 day a week.

A new study showed that the risk of mental health problems is reduced by 30% when people work remotely or 1 day per week in the office.

These conclusions were made by sociologists from the universities of Cambridge and Salford.

Researchers used data from a survey of more than 70,000 UK residents to find out how changes in work time were associated with mental health and life satisfaction.

After all, process automation will lead to job cuts. And the person who was fired from his job feels a strong apathy and external pressure.

But the researchers found out that not everything is so scary: to stay in the normal mood of the person it is enough for a person to visit the office once a week or work remotely.

Researchers also suggested some policy options for the transition, such as a “five-day weekend,” working only two hours a day, or increasing annual leave from weeks to months.
