A few weeks after the world premiere of Bad Boys 3, the film became the most profitable part of the franchise, earning $291 million.
For comparison, the second film of 2003, which all this time held the lead, brought the authors $273 million. And the first part raised the least — 141 million dollars.
At home hire, Bad Boys 3 made about $148 million. Outside the United States, the action movie has become the most popular in countries such as the UK (14.8 million), Germany (12.7 million), Mexico (10.5 million) and Australia (10 million).
Critics didn’t really like the film — on the Metacritic website, it now has an average rating of 59 out of a possible 100 points. But the film appealed to ordinary viewers.
