In the battle to buy the rights to adapt the fantastic work of Rick Remender and Tony Moore, Amazon won, leaving behind NBC, TNT, and HBO Max.

The Fear Agent comic was released from 2005 to 2012. The Image was the first publisher, but then it moved to Dark Horse, where it ended in issue 32.

According to the storyline of the comic, the main character, a Texan and an alcoholic, Heath Houston, plows the space on his ship in search of work. And not just anyhow, but quite specific. It destroys all alien infection and monsters. So the hero gets involved in various adventures, gets to know people and fights evil.

Amazon promise clones of clones of clones, time travel, saving the Earth from aliens, family reunion and much more.

Let’s hope that this adaptation of Rick Remender is more fortunate than that closed in the first season of the Deadly Class.

Seth Rogen, David F. Sandberg and Mattson Tomlin are responsible for the project.
