In American Atlanta, GA, rapper 21 Savage was detained, whose real name is Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph. The US immigration police suspected him of illegally staying in the country–the musician has only British citizenship. About this writes The Guardian.

According to authorities, 21 Savage legally entered the United States in 2005, but only for a year. Despite this, he remained in the country and continued to live illegally. The police noted that also in 2014, the rapper became a suspect in a drug trafficking case. In the near future, he will be charged and facing threat to be deported from the United States.

21 Savage is one of the rappers nominated for a Grammy Award in 2019: along with Post Malone, they claim two awards for the track “Rockstar”. In addition, the musician recently spoke at an event in front of the Super Bowl, and also performed with the legendary band Aerosmith at the MTV VMAs 2018 ceremony.
